LandScaping 0.1 - Mapping the places I have (never) been
LandScaping 0.1 inaugurates a cycle of choreographic works that explore the relationship between choreography, cartography, human and non-humanbodies. Through a humorous narrative, the audience is invited during this Performance Lecture to travel through true and untrue stories, real and unreal places and the material developed by the choreographer during an artistic residence in the Fall of 2020 in the region of Santarém in the Brazilian Amazon. During this research the artist was documenting the tensions, contradictions and characteristics of this place and transforming them into choreographic material. The experience of being in the Amazon and the conflicts that coexist in this place are reflected in this Performance Lecture.
